This weekend marks 5 years since I began my journey as Executive Director at Wolfe’s Neck Farm. Shortly after I accepted the job in the spring of ’12 but prior to my start date, my family and I reserved a site in the campground for a few nights.
In 2013 the Freeport Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors determined that it wanted to recognize an extraordinary individual who has contributed to both the business and social community of Freeport.

This afternoon we ventured to Wolfe’s Neck Farm to assist the farm in whatever needed to be done. Eric Tadlock, the Director of Education, first asked us to introduce ourselves and then gave us an overview of his job.
The first Europeans to visit these waters were probably Scandinavian fishermen, who could make the northern transit of the Atlantic and never be more than a few hundred miles from shore.
