Sarah Littlefield

I was fortunate to have parents that supported a crazy passion for cows by enrolling me in 4-H, connecting me with patient mentors, and encouraging me to study dairy science in college. I started my career by caring for some of the world’s most elite cattle and working with the best people in the dairy industry. Now, I have the opportunity to be back in Maine, where I was raised, mentoring the next generation of dairy enthusiasts just as I was. It’s a privilege to reside here on Wolfe’s Neck, the cows grazing in the pasture make a picture perfect backdrop while I watch my daughter write her name in the mud flats and our dog splash through the tide pools.

At Wolfe’s Neck Center, I oversee the Dairy Grazing Apprenticeship.

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family.

‘It’s a sad time to be a farmer.’

The USDA funding freeze is hitting Wolfe’s Neck Center hard. We are asking for your help to continue connecting people to agriculture and training the next generation of farmers.
