Sabie Lindsay

A true “Mainer,” Sabie grew up right outside of Portland, ME, and is excited to return to her roots at Wolfe’s Neck Center. Sabie attended St. Lawrence University, where she obtained a B.A. in Global Studies, concentrating in Media Studies & Public Health. In Upstate New York, she worked at a local vegetable farm and was passionate about supporting community-driven agriculture in her community. On campus, she lived in an intentional living house and prepared weekly farm-to-table dinners to share with community members. Sabie has worn many hats in the past- directing a folk musical festival, making ice cream at her family’s store, working as a campus tour guide, and contributing to various research projects related to reproductive health & birth accessibility in rural NY.

A previous Farm Educator at WNC, Sabie is excited to translate her love for working with kids in the outdoors to her passion for communications & events. She loves working towards a dedicated mission in food systems, driving by the ocean on her way to work every day and working “right above the barn.”

While not at Wolfe’s Neck, Sabie can be found ripping it up on some skis, cooking in her kitchen, jamming out to live music, or exploring the extensive backyard of the Northeast.
