Henhouse Automatic Door
Our farmers were finding that it was becoming time consuming to venture out on pasture to let the laying hens out of their housing every morning and back in each night. That’s when they took an old lunchbox they found and upcycled it into a makeshift unit to power the henhouse door automatically. Now the door is linked to two timers that are connected to a switch and set to open at dawn and close at dusk each day. Better yet, the whole system is powered by solar!
