We steward these 600 acres and invite the public to join us, to inform, inspire and learn. We believe our work on the farm in Freeport and in land stewardship communities we serve through our regional and national work provide insights that can inform regional, national, and global actions in support of a healthier planet.
We treat one another and everyone we encounter with respect. We value a diverse and growing community of people who care about and are dedicated to the future of food, communities, and the planet.
Wolfe’s Neck Center has a history of hands-on education – both for the public and for farmers, consistently testing and adapting agricultural practices. We apply knowledge gained over the course of our history, from our partners, and fellow farmers to serve as a hub of demonstration and innovation, both today and into the future. We believe in innovation rooted in observations, information, and science that can help change the systems of agriculture and food to support more viable communities and thriving ecosystems worldwide.
We believe solutions to the collective challenges we face are found through collaboration, where a diversity of ideas is brought together. We actively work together with partners and farmers across our local, regional and national community to address challenges and build solutions, be it on the farm or in the larger efforts we convene to change the agriculture and food system.
The USDA funding freeze is hitting Wolfe’s Neck Center hard. We are asking for your help to continue connecting people to agriculture and training the next generation of farmers.
